Michael Treanor, Ph.D.

Michael Treanor PhD is an Assistant Project Scientist with the ADRC. He completed his doctorate at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, his APA approved internship at the National Center for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Behavioral Science Division, and a NIMH T32 postdoctoral fellowship at UCLA. His research focuses on elucidating associative learning processes (e.g., extinction learning) as principal mechanisms of exposure therapy. In addition to his research and direct patient care, he actively supervises and trains others in exposure therapy and CBT for anxiety disorders, OCD, and PTSD.
