The Consciousness and Metacognition Lab and the Anxiety and Depression Research Center are launching a study on phobia treatment. We are looking for people who are experiencing significant anxiety provoked by feared animals, and individuals without this fear to participate in a single 2 hour session of fMRI scanning.
Eligibility Criteria
You might be eligible to participate in this study if you:
You are 18-65 years old
You have normal or corrected to normal vision and hearing
You have no neurological conditions
Procedures
Eligible individuals will be asked to complete questionnaires and computer tasks. The single scanning session will be held in the Brain Mapping Center at UCLA. Participants will be paid $20 per hour of participation.
